I feel a drop in my stomach every time I check my email and see nothing. And I know most of the schools I’ve applied to have already sent out emails (thegradcafe.com). So I’m probably not getting in anywhere. And now I get to go face my family this weekend and act like everything is fine when I know I essentially spent $1600 on grad school apps and put in weeks of work for nothing.
I really wish I didn’t want to do research so badly. Then I could have just applied to counseling programs instead.
